STORY

This necklace is based on a piece traditionally worn by women from the Tharu community, who live in southern Nepal and neighbouring parts of northern India. This particular design is associated with the Tharus of Dang district and nearby areas. 

Each bead is crafted by hand from sterling silver, and linked together with cotton thread.
